About

I am the pastor of Hilltop Baptist Church in Indiana PA. I have been here over eight years and I am in my third pastorate having pastored in my home town for 14 years. My first pastorate was King’s Chapel, a non denominational church but after becoming a Baptist I took the pastorate of Friendly Community Church. My first nine years at KC were slow and difficult. After becoming a Baptist and being called to FCBC this little church of 14 grew to well over 120 in less than five years. God has blessed the pastor who followed me, Phillip Jones, and in the following years FCBC has grown to well over 200 and in November of 2006 they entered their new, up-to-date auditorium.

At HBC we have seen wonderful growth, stabilization, and a spiritual maturity that can only come through the Word of God. Not only has the church grown–so have I. HBC has been gracious to allow me the time to study, read, and pray.

I have been married 24 wonderful years to Heather who is a software consultant/trainer and we have four precious children. (Jennifer, Melanie, Jerry, and Cameron.)
